Nashville, the capital of Tennessee, is home to Vanderbilt University. The Grand Ole Opry House is a legendary venue for country music. It was home to the "Grand Ole Opry", a radio and stage show, as well as the famed "Grand Ole Opry". Downtown is home to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the historic Ryman Auditorium. The District also features honky-tonks and live music and the Johnny Cash Museum that celebrates the life of the singer.
