


Port Aransas, located on Mustang Island on the Texas coast, is a city. It is known for its Gulf of Mexico beaches, and fish-filled watersways. Roberts Point Park has an observation tower that offers views of the bay and allows for dolphin sightings. A boardwalk connects Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center to alligator-inhabited wetlands that are also home for birds such as roseate spoonbills. From Fisherman's Wharf, boats run to San Jose Island.
