Kaanapali, a census-designated area in Maui County (Hawaii), United States of America, is located on the island Maui. At the 2020 census, there were 1,161 people. The master-planned community is located in Old Hawaii ahupuaa Hanakaoo. This is the same place as the Hanakaoo Canoe Beach at the southern end.
