


Hilo, also known as the Big Island in Hawaii, is a town located on the island of Hawaii. Wailuku river state park, which features Waianuenue (or Rainbow Falls), is a highlight of the town. It is also known for its misty effects and colorful mist. Nearby are the bubbling basalt-lava rocks pools, known as Boiling Pots. To the south lies Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It is home to rainforests as well as active Kilauea, Mauna Loa volcanoes.
