Emerald Isle is located on Bogue Banks Island in North Carolina's Crystal Coast. Bogue Inlet Pier, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, is a popular spot for fishing. The Eastern and Western Ocean Regional Accesses provide public access to the beach, making it a popular watersports hub. Emerald Isle Woods Park features a disc golf course, a dock, and shoreline and forest trails. It also includes a part of the North Carolina Birding Trail.
