Gatlinburg is a mountain community in eastern Tennessee that serves as the gateway to the 520,000-acre Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Many of the attractions have stunning views of the nearby park, such as the Space Needle observation tower at 407 feet and the Sky Lift, which is a 2.1-mile aerial cablecar that runs from Downtown to Ober Gatlinburg, the amusement park.
