Seattle is located in the Pacific Northwest on Puget Sound. It's surrounded by mountains, water, and evergreen trees and has thousands of acres parkland. It is Washington State's biggest city. The metro area houses a large tech industry with Amazon and Microsoft headquartered there. Its most famous landmark is the futuristic Space Needle, which was built in 1962 for the 1962 World's Fair.
