


Pensacola Beach, a Florida resort community, is located on the barrier island of Santa Rosa along the Gulf Coast. Opal Beach is a part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. It has white-sand beaches. The Pensacola Beach Boardwalk is home to shops, restaurants, and the Pensacola Beach Pier, which stretches into Gulf of Mexico. Both can be found on the Pensacola Beach Eco-Trail which highlights local wildlife like sea turtles. The 1834 Fort Pickens is west.
