Ashland, Oregon is a city. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is a highlight of the city. The leafy Lithia Park, located southwest of downtown, surrounds Ashland Creek. It has trails, duck ponds, and a rose garden. North Mountain Park, located to the northeast, has a nature center as well as themed gardens such the herb and butterfly gardens. The ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum offers a place for children to build and experiment in the Da Vinci’s Garage.
