Maalaea, a census-designated area in Maui County (Hawaii), United States, is Maalaea. At the 2020 census, there were 310 people. Maalaea has a small boat harbour, the Maui Ocean Center and a Shinto shrine. It also serves as the historic location for the original Maui Airport.
